‘Neuhaus’ is the solo project of the Swiss musician Yves Neuhaus. His music can best be described as a mixture of composition and improvisation. The classically trained Swiss composer and multi-instrumentalist creates pieces that always revolve around loops, which he enriches with violin, double bass, synthesiser, percussion, DrumComputer and other acoustic effects. Neuhaus’s musical sophistication is best expressed in his live performances when he constantly reinvents his music on the spot with a sophisticated system of instruments, Loop Station and electronics. The concert series will take place every Wednesday between 6 and 8 pm in the park of the Fondation Beyeler from 19 June to 25 September 2024. Admission is free and no prior booking is necessary.
